Rant.

I hate art styles that make men look like women, complete with curves and hips. It drives me mad. Men, even if they are feminine, still have features that make them look like men. Same with women. Men don't have noticable curves. They can be a little bit curvy, but that's the way human bodies go. Most of the time, men have less curves than a shoebox. Women are usually curvier than men. Not the other way around. I mean--sure, men can be mistaken for women, but that's usually at first glance. Usually, through the low-neck t-shirts and the skinny pants, you can find a man. A man. Not a woman.

Also: Realism first, then surrealism. In order to stylize something, you have to understand it first. People seem to forget this and jump right into surrealism. :C
